I’m a writer and artist with hEDS and CFS/ME, and my husband, Michael, has cerebral palsy.
I mostly write creative nonfiction, sometimes about disability and the stigma that surrounds visible and invisible disabilities.
Here’s a short bio:
A. J. Worley is a disabled writer with hEDS and Meniere’s disease. Their husband, Michael, has cerebral palsy, and they have two kids. Together, they live in Provo, Utah on lands rightfully belonging to the Timpanogos and Núu-Agha-Tʉvʉ-Pʉ̱ (Ute). A. J. was a poetry winner of the AWP Intro Journals Award, and their writing has appeared in Michigan Quarterly Review Online, Guernica, Hobart, Cimarron Review and elsewhere.
