About Me
I’m a writer and artist with hEDS/ME/Meniere’s Disease, and my husband, Michael, has cerebral palsy. We live in Utah on land rightfully belonging to Timpanogos and Núu-Agha-Tʉvʉ-Pʉ̱ (Ute) People near Timpanogos (Utah) Lake. My work has appeared in Michigan Quarterly Review Online, Post Road Magazine, Guernica, Cimarron Review, CRAFT, Sweet, Tar River Poetry, and elsewhere.
Variably, I go by Alizabeth, A. J., Lizzie, or, if you want to follow my mother’s example when I am being quarrelsome, Hortense. I enjoy gender flexibility and take kindly to all the pronouns.
